Co-member of Oxford’s exciting jazz, pop and electronics duo Limpet Space Race, Hannah Jacobs explores live electronics in a jazz format, combining live electronic manipulation using a custom-built modular synth and homemade instrument array, with trombone from Tom Green and vocals and keys from Theo Laird.

Hannah is a composer, arranger producer, performer. She has written and produced for a broad range of styles, primarily working across jazz, pop, electronics and contemporary classical genres. She has received commissions from Lucas Studios, Orchestra of St John’s and Oxford Contemporary Music.
Her work has been featured on BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio 1 and premiered at the Ashmolean Proms. She has toured the UK, Netherlands and Australia performing.
Hannah currently works at Upcycled Sounds recording studio as a Director and Producer, as well as managing their record label roster and facilitating their electronic music residential. She has been Artist in Residence with Fusion Arts for the last year and plays with various groups.
