Sara Colman Band online: https://www.saracolman.com/

The Sara Colman Band, based in Bristol, is a very special combination of musical personalities, instrumentation and style which culminates in a dynamic and emotional live experience. Inspired by her love of classic songwriting and instinctive improvisational energy, Sara’s musical journey brings her jazz sensibility into roots music territory. Her latest studio album ‘What We’re Made Of’ has received critical acclaim with the title song winning a UK Songwriting Competition 2018 award and Lyricist of the Year Award 2019.

‘Sara Colman has a rare ability. Not only does she do full justice to the music and lyrics of a song, she also shares the music with her audience with a deep generosity of spirit. And she does it all with wit, with grace and with wisdom’. (Peter Bacon, London Jazz News)

Sara Colman – vocals/composer, Rebecca Nash – piano/keyboards, Steve Banks – electric & acoustic guitars, Ben Markland – electric & double bass, Percy Pursglove – trumpet & flugelhorn, Jonathan Silk – drums & percussion
