Bristol-based saxophonist and composer Andrew Hayes, alongside his bandmate in Run Logan Run, has written new music inspired by Dartmoor’s rich history of folk legend, reconnecting musicians with their local history and landscape.

With his project, Run Logan Run, a duo of saxophone and drums, Andrew has co-written and recorded an EP, two 7″ singles and three full length albums, receiving favourable reviews in Jazzwise, Jazz Journal, The Wire and Electronic Sound.

In 2019 Run Logan Run won both the Montreux Jazz Talent Award, and the Help Musicians UK Do It Differently Award. Andrew has played at gigs and festivals all over Europe and many notable jazz venues including Ronnie Scotts, the Jazz Cafe, Vortex and Servant Jazz Quarters.
